The tripod references the spartan kitchens in a Kutchi home, where their cooking utensils take centre stage, displayed as prized possessions, stacked and arranged elegantly across the walls. . The three legged-base of ‘The Tripod’ pays homage to the raw traditionality of the open stoves in the region, its circular vase atop echoing the vessels that rest on it, and its terracotta hue depicting the colours of the earth in the region.

Materials: Red clay and copper bell, which comprises iron polished with a cuprous colour

Dimensions: Height : 30 inch || Width : 14 inch

Care: Wipe with soft dry cloth. Don’t use chemical and wet cloth.

Timeline: 25 days; which comprises 5 to 7 days of favourable weather to get the clay ready, 2 days to shape the clay, 3 days for drying the object, 3 days for firing in the traditional kiln. 5 days for Luhar to recycle iron and hammer it to get the shape. 4 to 5 days to bake it and cool it down.
